Get Involved

There are several ways to get involved to help make the Fox Cities a great place to ride. First, if you have not already registered to be a member of the FCCA, please take a moment to sign up to show your support for our mission.

If you are already a member and want to help us even more with our mission, you can get involved in the following activities.

Committees

One way to get more involved in FCCA is by participating in one of our committees. We have committees that focus on advocacy, planning rides, developing programs, and more.

Committees are responsible for executing the objectives of FCCA and are the best way for members to get involved.  Any member of FCCA can participate on our committees. Find the committee that best aligns with your passion and get started making the Fox Cities a great place to ride!

  • Rides & Events – Encourage cycling for all rider types by organizing free, fun, and safe rides and events in the community. Develop and sustain signature rides, such as monthly Moonlight Rides, riding the Appleton Christmas Parade, and more. Contact Rides.FCCA@gmail.com to join the committee.

  • Programs – Develop and sustain programs that provide education and encouragement within the community, as well as unique opportunities for underserved rider types. Existing programs include Cycling Without Age, Trips For Kids, and the Fox Cities Bike Challenge. Contact Programs.FCCA@gmail.com to join the committee.

  • Membership & Communications – Encourage engagement of new and existing members to support the FCCA mission and strengthen our voice. Foster communication and awareness among new and existing members. Contact Communications.FCCA@gmail.com to join the committee.

  • Advocacy – Raise awareness around cycling infrastructure and rights initiatives in the Fox Cities to grow the presence and voice of the cycling community as well as promote dialogue among cycling groups. Contact FoxCitiesCycling.org@gmail.com to join the committee.

To join a committee, send an email expressing interest to the corresponding committee contact(s) above. You can participate at whatever level works for you and any level of participation is appreciated.

Town Hall Meetings and Presentations

Occasionally we will host special speakers or member town hall meetings. These meetings will typically include a speaker on a topic of interest followed by an open forum where any member can share their ideas on how to make the Fox Cities a great place to ride. Watch our Events page for more information.
